5th PYD - 6th Anniversary -by: Migs Enriquez

          Ika-24 ng Agosto 2009, naganap ang 5th Parish Youth Day - 6th Anniversay ng PYM ng Fatima na may dalawang tema, ito ang “Youth of Today: A Journey with a Purpose” at “Come unto Me, and I will answer you (Jer. 33:3)”. Naganap ito sa Daughters of Charity sa Deparo, Novaliches Quezon City. 16 na kabataan ang dumalo sa anibersaryo, isang makabuluhang event ito dahil ito ay isang Recollection na pinamunuan ni Dr. Louie V. Galindez (Psychologist/Criminologist/Educator/Professor/Reviewer/Lecturer/Trainor/Speaker/Counselor) at kasama pa si Tita Clemence Alvarez, ang kanyang assistant. Naging matagumpay ang anniversary recollection dahil sa mga naituro ni Dr. Galindez, inumpisahan niya ang recollection sa Talk #1 na “Knowing Myself”, ang pinaka ipinaliwanag dito ay we’re all here on earth to make a contribution. Sinundan ito ng Talk #2 “Service is the Pathway to Real Significance”, tinuro naman dito na we need to have a communion with God. Ang huling tinalakay ay ang “Team Building”, nagkaroon ng isang team building dito at ito ang building a tower. Sa bawat talk, nagkaroon ng mga gawain pagkatapos ng mga talakayan, at sa pag-gawa ng mga gawain, apat ng grupo ang naisa-ayos bago pa mag-umpisa ang recollection; ito ay sina: Migs, Franzel, Jace, at Dayze (4Him)… Franz, Jome, Ton, at Rhen (Kakasa Ka pa?)… TJ, Badette, Doll, at Don (Survivors)… at sina Jeff, Corina, Denden, at Kaya (Jeff’s Angel and Friends).

           Sa anim na taong pagsisilbi ng mga kabataan, isa lang ang gusto nilang maipakita, IT’S ALWAYS COOL TO SERVE GOD. Marami mang nawala, nadagdagan naman ng bago. ONCE AN OLFPYM MEMBER, ALWAYS AN OLFPYM MEMBER.
